A visit to Stockyards and The Stop's Beer Garden

Every couple of Sundays, The Stop hosts a beer garden featuring local craft beer. It's hosted in the lovely Wychwood Barns, which was once a maintenance yard for old TTC streetcars! It now contains artist housing and studios, a greenhouse, regular farmer's markets, office space and much more.

The beer garden featured $5 craft beer and $5 sammies with local produce. Cheap delicious eats and drinks, and a great cause? How could we lose?

Sun + Beer + good eats + good company = My perfect afternoon.

Afterwards, we grabbed dinner at a local favourite... The Stockyards. We ordered the fried chicken dinner and a full rack of ribs. Final verdict? Nom nom nom! Try to read the menu without salivating... I dare ya! Everything is reasonably priced, especially for the quality. $wag n Style stamp of approval for quality and price.
Tip... arrive hungry!
Update: Tip #2, call in and order take-out. Wychwood barns have lots of lovely benches meant for munching on good eats!

Order's up!
I wish I had taken an after shot.... I think my head was spinning from deliciousness and it's safe to say, I was in a food coma.

Have you been to any of the Stockyards or The Stop's programs? What are you thoughts?
